Packaging Design
Packaging that sells on the shelf and holds up on press
On the shelf, your pack has a few seconds to be noticed, understood and chosen. Design Minds designs packaging as part of the brand, from the first concept to print‑ready artwork on the converter's cutter guide.
A pack is a brand you can pick up.
Good packaging does three jobs at once. It stands out from the brands around it, it tells the buyer what is inside and why it is worth the price, and it meets every regulatory and practical requirement on a small, folded surface. Get the last one wrong and the first two do not matter.
We bring over 35 years of print and finished artwork to every pack: correct dielines, bleed, colour set for the stock and the press, and every mandatory panel checked before it goes to the converter.

What brands ask before starting a new pack.
Do you work to our printer or converter's dieline?
Yes. We design on the converter's cutter guide from the start, so the artwork fits the folds, glue flaps and windows exactly. If you do not have a converter yet, we can help you shape the brief for one.
Can you redesign our packaging without losing recognition?
Yes. We start by working out what your customers actually recognise, often a colour, a shape or a name treatment, and carry that forward. A careful evolution is often smarter than starting again.
What do we need to supply?
Your brand guidelines and logo files, the product information and mandatory text, the pack format and quantities, and your converter's cutter guide if you have one. If some of that is missing, shaping the brief is part of our process.
How much does packaging design cost?
It is quoted per project, based on the number of packs and variants. We give a free consultation first, then a fixed written quotation. Standard terms are a 50% deposit to begin, with the balance on completion.
Got a product that needs a pack?
Tell us about the product, the market and the format, and we will come back with questions, then a fixed written quotation. Call 01 961 0034 or email info@designminds.ie.
