One brochure, two lives: designing for print and PDF

Printed brochure beside a tablet showing the same brochure as a PDF – brochure design Ireland by Design Minds

Most brochures now lead a double life. The printed copy sits on a reception desk or goes home after a meeting; the PDF gets emailed, downloaded from your website and forwarded to people you will never meet. Good brochure design in Ireland plans for both from the first sketch, not as an afterthought.

Design for the hand and the screen

A spread that looks balanced on A4 paper can be awkward on a laptop and unreadable on a phone. We set type sizes, margins and image placement so each page reads well printed and on screen, and we build a single-page PDF version alongside the print imposition, so nobody has to scroll sideways through a corporate brochure.

Make the digital brochure work harder

A digital brochure can do things paper cannot: clickable contact details, links to case studies, a booking page one tap away. We keep the file light enough to email comfortably and tag it properly so it is accessible and searchable.

One set of artwork, two outputs

Because design, finished artwork and print management sit under one roof in our Dublin studio, you get press-ready files and a polished PDF from the same artwork, with no rework and no mismatched versions.
